SCATTERED STORMS CONTINUE… Storms have quickly become more numerous across south Alabama and northwest Florida. As of 3:09PM, we note many small, numerous showers and thunderstorms bubbling up across the region. There is nothing severe, but downpours of rain in the stronger storms are heavy. Storms will continue to bubble up and fade away across our region over the next few hours.

ISOLATED STORMS DRIFTING NORTH… Similar to yesterday, showers and thunderstorms are popping up over coastal counties. At the moment, the heaviest rain is happening near Tanner Williams, Holt, Eglin AFB, Munson, Chumuckla, and Wallace (FL).

Over the next few hours, scattered storms will continue to pop up across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Most of the storms should happen in areas along and SOUTH of U.S. Highway 84 today. Not everyone will have rain/storms before the end of the day, but some inevitably will. Temperatures are QUITE hot today, near 94 degrees in most spots. Heat index values have surpassed the 100 degree mark in most spots.

I’ll have radar updates as needed here in the RZWeather app over the next few hours.
