STORMS RAMPING UP… Scattered showers and thunderstorms seem to be ramping up during this 5PM hour. At the moment, heavy rain is now happening along the U.S. Highway 29 corridor between East Brewton and Andalusia, near Carolina and Dixie. There also is a heavier shower in progress over Brewton right now and several smaller storms near Gosport, Evergreen, and Huxford.
I’m not expecting severe weather issues, but a few of the storms could become larger and produce heavy rain and quite a bit of cloud-to-ground lightning. Be ready for scattered downpours!
