STORMS APPROACHING BREWTON… Thunderstorms are approaching Brewton, East Brewton, Alco, Kirkland, and Appleton from the southeast. Heavy rain is happening along County Highway 55 (Travis Road) just southeast of the greater Brewton area. This rain extends all the way out to Damascus and Hoomesville near US29 and the McGowin Bridge. Be ready for heavy downpours of rain in the greater Brewton area shortly.
We’re also monitoring storms near Calvert and Mt. Vernon in northern Mobile County. Several storms have also popped up in south Baldwin County over the last few minutes. Storms will continue to pop up over the next few hours. Severe weather is not expected today.

SCATTERED STORMS MOVING INLAND… Heavy rain associated with scattered thunderstorms continues to push inland across south Alabama and northwest Florida. At the moment, heavy rain is falling near Riverview, East Brewton, Pollard, Wing, Rabun, Lottie, and Phillipsville.
Storms will continue to pop up over the next few hours.
