STORMS MOVING NORTHWEST… Isolated thunderstorms are producing heavy rain and quite a bit of lightning across the region on this Saturday evening. At the moment, the heaviest rain in our region is in Baldwin County near Robertsdale and Summerdale along AL59. This storm is moving northwest toward Silverhill. We’re also monitoring storms developing near Brewton, East Brewton, and Roberts in Escambia County, AL.

More storms are likely to pop up over the next few hours. Severe weather is not expected today.

STORMS NEAR CHUMUCKLA & ELSANOR… The complex of storms in Santa Rosa County near Chumuckla and the New York community continues to move slowly northwestward. We’re also tracking several scattered thunderstorms firing up in Baldwin County. The strongest, at the moment, is near Elsanor along the U.S. Highway 98 corridor.

Small showers are also popping up across Covington, Butler, and Okaloosa counties. Be ready for scattered downpours of heavy rain over the next few hours!
