WET EVENING COMMUTE… The 5 o’clock rush hour is slated to be wet for many commuters across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Much of the heavy rain is now well to our north in portions of central Alabama. Lingering showers continue near Century, Pollard, Riverview, East Brewton, Thomasville, and Coden.
There will be isolated showers around over the next few hours. Another round of heavy rain and storms is expected on Tuesday.

SOGGY EVENING AHEAD… Much of south Alabama and northwest Florida continues to experience light to moderate rain on this Monday evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to happen across the region over the next several hours. As of 3 o’clock, the heaviest rain in our region is happening in the northern parts of Conecuh and Monroe counties near Beatrice, Old Texas, Midway, Lyeffion, and Hybart.
Another batch of scattered thunderstorms is producing heavy rain in portions of our coastal counties, near Barrineau Park, Elberta, and Milton. Keep the rain gear handy over the next few hours!
