I-65 STORMS… Scattered thunderstorms continue to line up along the Interstate 65 corridor between southern Butler County down to Bay Minette. We also note heavy rain is happening along US98 between Mobile and Lucedale, MS. Storms have also just fired up in northern Clarke County near Bashi.
I expect more thunderstorms to pop up this afternoon across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Be ready for scattered downpours of heavy rain! (How many times have I said that in the last few months?!)
Loud and proud thunderstorms that are producing heavy rain have set up along the I-65 corridor between Perdido and Owassa… Heavy rain is happening near @WindCreekAtmore, Evergreen, Castleberry, Sandcut, and Huxford. pic.twitter.com/EOlowmDmqW

SCATTERED STORMS DRIFTING NORTHEAST… Just like yesterday and likely just like tomorrow, scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to bubble up across south Alabama and northwest Florida. These small storms are drifting northeast at 5-10mph.
The heaviest rain at the moment is happening across portions of Conecuh County near Belleville, Repton, and Evergreen. Storms are also firing again near Atmore, Nokomis, Lottie, Appleton, and East Brewton.
Widespread severe weather is not expected today, but storms will produce heavy downpours of rain and lots of lightning.
