STORMS POPPING UP… Numerous showers and thunderstorms continue to pop up across parts of south Alabama and northwest Florida late on this Monday morning. Most of the rain/storm action today is happening along and south of I-10. There are a few storms inland, however, near Repton and along the Tombigbee River near Jackson and Leroy. Precip today is drifting north-northwest.
WHAT TO EXPECT… Storms will likely increase in number across the region over the next few hours. Most, but not all, spots will have rain before the end of the day. Some of the storms could be on the stronger side, featuring gusty winds, heavy rain, and cloud-to-ground lightning. We’ll keep you posted in the RZWeather app.
