WET AT TIMES TODAY W/ NUMEROUS STORMS AROUND… Keep the rain gear close by on this Wednesday and into tonight. The cold front that caused all of the severe weather issues well to our north on Monday night has stalled out basically right over our area, thus paving the way for numerous showers and thunderstorms to form. Cooler temperatures are ahead for the weekend, but not cool enough for snow or sleet! Let’s talk details…

RAIN TODAY AND TONIGHT… Temperatures on the north side of our region near Beatrice, Greenville, Monroeville, and Thomasville will be in the mid-70s this afternoon while areas farther to the south like Crestview, Jay, Allentown, and Foley will be near 80 by 2PM. More rain is in store tonight and into Thursday as well. Rain chances will remain elevated until a second, stronger cold front moves in from the northwest on Friday.

SUNNY SATURDAY AHEAD… Drier, cooler air will move in late Friday into Saturday. High temperatures on Saturday will drop into the 60s with morning lows in the 40s. We may have to adjust rain chances a bit higher for Sunday, as it appears a shortwave trough will bring in more rain. Temperatures will be WELL above levels for winter weather, however.

See all the details in your Wednesday #rzw forecast video that will be available shortly in the RZWeather app… Enjoy the day!
