SEVERE WEATHER RISK SLOWLY ENDING… It’s not over yet, unless you’re in far west Alabama! The severe weather risk has come to an end across Clarke, Choctaw, Washington, and western parts of Mobile counties in southwest Alabama. We’re still dealing a severe thunderstorm producing potentially damaging winds moving through Niceville and Destin in SE Okaloosa County right now. Very heavy rain is in progress near Downtown Mobile, Prichard, Saraland, and Satsuma. This rain is about to move east over the Bayway/Causeway and into the Eastern Shore region of Baldwin County.

TORNADO WATCH CONTINUES… The tornado watch that is in effect for counties in south Alabama & NW Florida continues until 7PM. NWS Mobile will likely start cancelling counties out of the tornado watch once this main line of storms moves through. Again, the severe weather risk is not over just yet. Have a way to receive warnings over the next few hours.
