SEASONAL SATURDAY; DRY CHRISTMAS AHEAD… Mostly sunny skies are likely across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Saturday. Thank you to Ditto Gorme for this nice sunset view from last evening from Atmore, AL. High temperatures will peak around 61° by 2PM. No rain is expected today, but there could be a few showers on Sunday. We’re also looking ahead to a nice, mild Christmas Day.

LOW RAIN CHANCE SUNDAY… We’ll call it a 20% rain chance for any given spot across the region on Sunday as a weak cold front moves by. Showers will likely happen late in the daytime hours of Sunday into the evening hours.

DRY FOR CHRISTMAS… Both Christmas Eve (Monday) and Christmas Day (Tuesday) will be dry across the region. High temps on Monday will be around 62°. We rise to around 70° by Christmas Day with partly cloudy skies expected.

NEXT SIGNIFICANT RAIN CHANCE… Another strong cold front will likely move through the region Thursday into Friday of the upcoming week, setting off a few showers and storms. It’s well too early to know if severe weather will be a concern. We’ll keep you posted.

Have a nice Saturday!
