SERIOUS SEVERE WEATHER SETUP… Atmospheric destabalization continues across much of the southern half of Alabama and northwest Florida. The factor that will inhibit severe weather development for much of the northern half of Alabama is all of the rain/cooler air in place. Temperatures are at or below 55 degrees north of Interstate 20. Compare that with areas south of U.S. Highway 80 that are in the 70s as of late morning.
