PARTLY CLOUDY & COOL TODAY; STREAK OF SUNNY DAYS AHEAD… Other than a few clouds passing by from west to east, our weather pattern will remain quiet and dry on this Monday. High temperatures will peak in the mid-60s across south Alabama and northwest Florida later today. We’ve got a streak of nice, sunny, mild days upcoming for Tuesday through Friday. Our next rain chance will happen on Sunday as a cold front approaches from the northwest.

MORE CHILLY NIGHTS AHEAD… Most spots across the region started in the upper-30s this morning. Overnight lows on Tuesday morning will again be in the upper-30s with 40s likely for Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Temperatures won’t drop anywhere close to the freezing mark.

SUNNY DAYS THIS WEEK… Plenty of sunshine is expected Tuesday through Friday. Temperatures will increase to the mid-70s by Friday afternoon.

NEXT RAIN CHANCE: SUNDAY… Our next cold front is slated to approach our region late Saturday into Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms will likely happen on Sunday, particularly late in the day, although forecast confidence at that range remains low. Anytime we have an approaching front his time of year, we need to monitor trends to see if severe weather may be an issue. Too early to know with this system, but that is something I’ll be keeping an eye on in the next few days.

See all the details and graphics in your Monday #rzw forecast video… Enjoy the day!
