GORGEOUS TUESDAY; RAIN & STORMS LATE THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY… We’re looking ahead to Thursday when rain and storms will return to the forecast. While storms will probably be under severe limits in most spots, overnight models have trended toward a few more strong storms. Our streak of warm, sunny, nice days is set to continue on this Tuesday as high temperatures make a run to around 85° this afternoon. While a few clouds are possible on Wednesday, rain likely won’t return until the evening hours of Thursday. Lingering showers are possible on Friday before a nice, sunny, warm weekend. Let’s look at a few details…

NICE TODAY & WEDNESDAY… High temperatures will be in the mid-80s today and on Wednesday. Sunny skies are expected all day today. You’ll probably notice a few puffy, white cumulus clouds developing on Wednesday. We’ll call it partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be in the 50s.

SHOWERS & STORMS THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY… Rain chances will be greatest on Thursday after 6PM. Showers and storms will move in from the west during the evening hours. As of now, it certainly looks like this system will be weaker than our last two rounds of strong storms although it’s important to note that we still may have a few strong storms near the immediate coast. Instability values look to remain at or near zero for inland areas. If we happen to get any severe storms close by, odds are they will happen in coastal areas. Big takeaway here is that rain and thunderstorms are expected late Thursday into Friday. Severe weather parameters remain low, but are trending upward. I’ll assess the situation throughout the day and bring you a detailed update tonight. Rain should clear out by Friday evening.

GORGEOUS WEEKEND AHEAD… Sunshine is expected for both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s with morning lows in the 60s.
