RAIN ENDING ON EAST SIDE OF REGION… We’ve had a nice, soaking rain today across much of our area with most spots picking up between one half inch and one inch of rain in total. Light to moderate rain continues over parts of Covington and Butler counties early this evening. We note that a few storms have fired in parts of Jackson County, Mississippi, just west of Mobile County. I wouldn’t be shocked if a few more storms bubbled up before the end of the day. Keep the rain gear close by.
