STRONG STORMS NEAR MCWILLIAMS… Thunderstorms have popped up this afternoon in the northern parts of Monroe, Conecuh, and Butler counties across the interior of south Alabama. The strongest storm at the moment is over McWilliams, Oak Hill, and Pine Apple in Wilcox County. This storm is drifting east.
The morning round of sprinkles and light rain showers clearly had some effect on stabilizing the atmosphere somewhat. It remains to be seen when and where new storms will pop up this afternoon. Be ready for scattered downpours of heavy rain!
