STORMS POPPING UP LOCALLY… Scattered showers and thunderstorms are now popping up across south Alabama and northwest Florida. At the moment, the heaviest rain is happening near Milton, Pace, Pensacola, Crestview, Baker, Citronelle, and McIntosh. Storms are moving westward today around the broad counterclockwise circulation of what will be Tropical Storm Barry in the Gulf of Mexico.
Scattered downpours of heavy rain will be possible across the region over the next few hours.
