SMALL SHOWERS & STORMS POPPING UP… We’re observing numerous showers and thunderstorms developing across south Alabama and northwest Florida late on this Tuesday morning. Heavy downpours of rain are happening near Repton, Lenox, River Falls, Dozier, and Niceville. I expect the coverage of showers and thunderstorms to increase over the next 2-3 hours. Be ready for scattered downpours of heavy rain. Some of the storms may produce intense cloud-to-ground lightning.
