SCATTERED DOWNPOURS OF HEAVY RAIN… Strong thunderstorms are happening early this evening across parts of Monroe, Conecuh, and Mobile counties. At the moment, very heavy rain is happening along the Conecuh and Monroe county line near the communities of Skinnerton, Ramah, Harpers Store, Burnt Corn, and Repton. These storms are not moving and are nearly stationary. Storms are also happening along the US45 corridor north of Mobile near Chunchula and Citronelle.

WHAT TO EXPECT – NEXT FEW HOURS… More showers and thunderstorms will pop up across the region. You can keep tabs on the radar in the Radar tab of the RedZone Weather app. “When thunder roars, please go indoors.” If you’re close enough to a storm that you can hear thunder, you’re close enough to be struck by lightning.
