FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL UPDATE… For folks trying to make decisions in regard to high school football games… Storms continue to produce heavy rain across much of Okaloosa County. Storms are also loud and proud in the northern part of Baldwin County near Bay Minette. We note that newer storms have popped up near Castleberry and Appleton. Storms are drifting southwest, meaning folks in the following areas may have to contend with rain and storms within the next hour or so:
– Saraland
– Satsuma
– Creola
– Appleton
– Flomaton
– Navarre
– Milton
– Harold
These are the areas next in line to see heavy rain IF storms hold together. We’ll keep watching radar trends. Storms are below severe limits, but there is dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning involved with the storms this evening.
