HERE COMES THE RAIN… Tuesday through Thursday are slated to be intermittently wet with rain and storms in place across south Alabama and northwest Florida. While there is a high chance none of the days will be an “all day washout,” there’s very little doubt that scattered showers and storms will be in place at times across the region. A few questions today about the severe weather risk over the next few days… It’s low, but it’s not zero. The greatest risk of strong to severe storms will come on Thursday when a squall line moves through from west to east across the region.
Attached is the HRRR model projected radar valid for 9AM tomorrow morning. Keep that rain gear handy! We’ll have radar updates as needed in the RedZone Weather app.
My next forecast video will be posted at 7:15AM on Tuesday. See you then!
