SUNNY THROUGH WEDNESDAY; COLD TONIGHT WITH LOWS BELOW FREEZING… Temperatures are MUCH cooler on this Monday across Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures are set to peak in the low-50s today across the region as cold, dry air continues to move into our region from the northwest. Tonight into Tuesday morning will be the coldest morning of the next 7-10 days. Overnight lows Tuesday A.M. will be in the upper-20s across inland areas of southwest Alabama with temperatures near the freezing mark likely closer to the coast. Cool, dry days are ahead. Let’s look at a few forecast details.

QUIET, COOL WEATHER THROUGH WEDNESDAY… Tuesday into Wednesday will be cool, sunny, and dry. No significant weather issues are expected across south Alabama or northwest Florida. High temperatures will rise into the mid-60s on Wednesday afternoon.

CLOUDS MOVE IN THURSDAY; RAIN LIKELY FRIDAY… Clouds will start to stream in from the southwest on Thursday ahead of our next rain event slated for Friday. Due to the wind flow from the south, temperatures will edge up to near 70° by the end of the week. The event Friday looks to be rain with maybe a few embedded general thunderstorms with no signs of severe weather for now.
