LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS… The line of storms we’ve been tracking all day that moved across portions of Mississippi has weakened considerably. It is now a weakening line of showers approaching Choctaw and Washington counties in west Alabama. There also are small showers happening in/near northwest Florida near Navarre, Crestview, and Milligan.
The severe weather risk is now very low across the area. No need to stay awake and worry, as tornado warnings appear increasingly unlikely overnight. I would suggest the chance of any tornado warnings locally overnight is probably less than 5 percent at this point.
