SHOWERS CONTINUE THIS EVENING… Rain isn’t done for the day just yet. Scattered showers continue to move west across the region as of 8:30PM.
Heavy rain is happening near Molino, Milton, Pace, Brewton, East Brewton, and Riverview.
Intermittent rain and perhaps a few thunderstorms will continue over the next few hours as tropical moisture continues to stream in from the south.
A tropical wave is emerging off the coast of Senegal into the Atlantic. Two more are spaced out 4-5 days apart over the continent.
This disturbance will be watched closely into next week as it has potential to become a powerful storm.

New recon's first pass into #TD8 did not immediately find TS-force winds, but it did find a tighter circulation and a pressure of ~1003mb, 5-6mb lower than the last mission, indicating that TD8 is beginning the strengthening process.
