CONECUH RIVER ABOVE FLOOD STAGE AT RIVERVIEW NEAR EAST BREWTON… Water levels on the Conecuh River near Riverview, AL continue to be above flood stage after record-setting rainfall during Hurricane Sally on Wednesday. This aerial video highlights the flooding ongoing near the Alabama Highway 41 bridge near Riverview, just south of East Brewton along Alabama Highway 41. The water levels of the Conecuh River near Riverview are forecast to basically be at this same level for the next 3-4 days, per the latest flood guidance issued by the local National Weather Service office. Special thanks to the Airport Manager Earl Lambert and the Brewton Municipal Airport for helping me coordinate this drone flight in a safe way. This drone flight happened about a mile away from the Brewton Municipal Airport, thus special permission was needed to make this happen.
