Rain & thunderstorms are likely on Friday. The weekend trends drier, but we still may have a few showers around at times. High temperatures will consistently be near 80 over the next few days. https://t.co/ceFmrI88K0
MAINLY SUNNY THIS AFTERNOON; RAIN & STORMS FRIDAY… Fog is dense this morning in many spots across the region. Fog will burn off by the time we get to the midmorning hours. Clouds around this morning will give way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon. High temperatures will again be in the mid-80s on this Wednesday. Showers will become possible tomorrow evening ahead of numerous showers and storms being possible Friday. We will trend drier this weekend, although a few showers will be possible. A few more Wednesday morning forecast notes are below.
FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE THURSDAY EVENING… Clouds will be on the increase in coverage tomorrow ahead of a few isolated showers being possible, mainly across west Alabama, on Thursday evening. Most locales tomorrow will remain dry, but I cannot completely rule out a few showers in the evening hours on Thursday.
RAIN & STORMS LIKELY ON FRIDAY… Showers and thunderstorms will be likely at times on Friday. Other than heavier areas of rain and cloud-to-ground lightning, widespread, severe weather does not seem likely across our region. There is a good chance showers and storms will be scattered in nature, thus we are not expecting an “all day washout” event. High temperatures Friday will again be near 80 in most spots.
FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND… Low (but not zero) rain chances are ahead for the weekend. There could be a few pop-up showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two around. I expect most locales to remain dry this weekend. High temperatures will again be in the 80s.
