TROPICS ARE QUIET AND EXPECTED TO REMAIN QUIET… I know it may seem hard to believe after the hyperactive 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season and the quick start to this year’s hurricane season, but the short- and medium-range models show no tropical activity forming anytime soon. This is excellent news!
Hopefully this trend will continue well into August, although we note certain parameters and indices have indicated August has some potential to become a bit more active.
Locally, more showers and storms are ahead for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday ahead of increasing hot and overall drier conditions this weekend into next week.
