FLASH FLOOD WARNING AS RAIN RATES OF 2-3″ PER HOUR CONTINUE… A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for parts of Escambia (AL), Conecuh, and Monroe counties in south Alabama this evening as torrential downpours have set up a considerable flash flood threat. This Flash Flood Warning includes Atmore, Poarch, Huxford, Robinsonville, Nokomis, Monroeville, Uriah, Frisco City, Excel, Megargal, Repton, Range, Wallace, Flomaton, Barnetts Crossroads, Wawbeek, Sardine, Booneville, and surrounding areas.
If you encounter a water-covered roadway, please “turn around, don’t drown.” Flash flooding could be quite serious in isolated areas.
Storms continue to push east across our region. Heavy rain is expected shortly near Andalusia, River Falls, Gantt, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, Molino, Century, and McDavid over the next hour.
A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Atmore, Poarch, Uriah, Monroeville, Repton, Flomaton, and surrounding areas. High rain rates in these storms!
