TEMPS IN 20s POSSIBLE INLAND; FREEZE LIKELY ACROSS REGION… A Freeze Warning is in effect for much of our local area as temperatures are expected to be at or just below the freezing mark by daybreak on Saturday. This will be the first freeze of the season for many communities closer to the coast. Regardless of if you are near the coast or farther inland, we encourage everyone to bring outdoor pets inside, bring sensitive plants inside, and check on people who may not have adequate heating sources.
IRON BOWL TO BE COLD & DRY… No changes to report for the upcoming Iron Bowl forecast. High temperatures in Auburn on Saturday will be around the 60 degree mark with full sunshine expected throughout the day. That means that kickoff temperatures at 2:30PM CST will be around 60 degrees with temperatures likely to be in the mid- to upper-40s by the end of the game.
More updates will be posted as needed this weekend in the RedZone Weather app. Have a great Friday evening and stay warm!
