NUMEROUS SHOWERS & STORMS… Heavy rain and thunderstorms continue to develop near Mobile, Pensacola, and much of southern Baldwin County as of midday. Scattered storms are also developing outside of this large complex of storms.

I expect the overall coverage of storms to increase across the region over the next several hours.

SCATTERED STORMS NEAR THE COAST… Showers and storms continue to get an early start this morning near the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches. Loud storms are happening near Pensacola, Gulf Shores, Point Clear, Sunny Cove, and Dauphin Island.

More storms will pop up across the region in the hours ahead.
