HOTTEST DAY OF THE WEEK TOMORROW… Heat index values will surge to around 105° on Wednesday afternoon in many spots across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Air temperatures will reach the low- to mid-90s for afternoon highs. There will be a few storms around, but the overall coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be much less tomorrow compared to previous days. The tropics remain quiet with no new tropical storms expected to form over the next 5-7 days across the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean.
My next detailed forecast video and text discussion will be posted by 7:15AM tomorrow morning. Have a nice Tuesday evening!
Not breaking news by any stretch but be aware that heat index values will be quite high tomorrow. Some spots may hit 105-106° in the afternoon hours. https://t.co/93MnajbP1m pic.twitter.com/C2nrsHrpZL
