MORE RAIN ON SUNDAY… Rain will be likely on Sunday but not before a beautiful, nice Saturday across much of the Deep South. Highs will be in the 60s over the next several days with morning lows in the 40s.
PARTLY CLOUDY TODAY AND SATURDAY; RAIN LIKELY SUNDAY… Lingering sprinkles and showers this morning will clear out by midday with partly cloudy skies likely into the afternoon and evening hours on this Friday. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-60s today. Our next considerable chance of rain happens on Sunday, primarily in the afternoon and evening hours, as a frontal boundary moves across our region. Cool temperatures are here to stay for awhile, well into next week with highs likely to be in the 50s by Monday with morning lows around the freezing mark by Wednesday morning of the upcoming week.
MAINLY SUNNY FOR SATURDAY; DRY WEATHER FOR IRON BOWL… Tomorrow will likely be partly cloudy or even mostly sunny for many communities across south Alabama and northwest Florida. The weather in Auburn for the Iron Bowl will be seasonal and nice. Temperatures will be in the 60s at kickoff, falling into the 50s by the 4th quarter. Dry conditions are expected for the duration of the big game tomorrow.
RAIN EXPECTED IN P.M. HOURS OF SUNDAY… Scattered showers will develop to our west on Sunday and gradually move across our local area in the afternoon and evening hours. Rain amounts are generally expected to be less than half of one inch in total. High temperatures on Sunday will be in the mid-60s.
COOL DAYS AND COLD NIGHTS NEXT WEEK… High temperatures will be in the 50s on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the upcoming week. There is a real chance some communities, especially farther inland, may have temperatures near the freezing mark on Monday night and at or below the freezing mark on Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.

115pm – What youโre seeing on radar isnโt falling to the groundโฆyet. There is a dry layer in the lower levels that the rain is attempting to fall through. Itโll take some time for that dry layer to erode. Once that dry air erodes, expect drizzle/light rain tonight & overnight. pic.twitter.com/toGGLGG2Y6

COOL DAYS AND COLD NIGHTS INTO THE WEEKEND… Cool temperatures are here to stay for awhile with highs in the 50s and 60s for the next 7 days. Overnight lows will be in the 40s over the next several nights.
A few showers will be possible later today into tonight. Most communities locally will remain dry.
MOSTLY CLOUDY THANKSGIVING; A FEW P.M. SHOWERS… Happy Thanksgiving! Mostly cloudy skies will persist throughout the day on this Thursday. Scattered showers will be possible this afternoon into this evening. Not every community locally will have rain before the end of the day but I expect some probably will. We’ll be watching showers move in from the Gulf of Mexico during the P.M. hours. High temperatures will be in the upper-50s today so even if you don’t need the RAIN jackets, you probably will need a jacket as chilly temperatures will be in place across the region all day.
CHILLY & POTENTIALLY WET START TO BLACK FRIDAY… Scattered showers will be possible early tomorrow morning. Temperatures will be in the low-40s region wide by daybreak on Friday. If you are headed out for early morning Black Friday shopping, be aware that some locales will be dealing with a cold rain at times. Highs will rebound into the 60s by Friday afternoon.
DRY, COOL SATURDAY; PERFECT WEATHER FOR IRON BOWL… Mostly sunny skies are in store for much of the Deep South on Saturday, including in Auburn where the 88th edition of the Iron Bowl will take place starting at 2:30PM. The game will be televised on CBS as the Alabama Crimson Tide takes on the Auburn Tigers. Kickoff temperatures will be in the low-60s with temps falling into the 50s by the end of the game. No rain is expected on Saturday in Auburn or across the local area in south Alabama or northwest Florida.
