HERE COMES THE RAIN; WET FIRST DAY OF MARCH… Rain and thunderstorms are likely tomorrow in the morning and afternoon hours. Rain may be heavy at times. The good news is widespread severe storms are NOT expected, although loud thunder at times can’t completely be ruled out. The instability will be the limiting factor with this passing system, thus the overall tornado risk remains very, very low if not zero in most spots. Expect rain at times Friday morning into the afternoon hours with a general decrease in the amount of showers and storms around in the evening hours.
UNSETTLED WEEKEND… The overall coverage of rain and thunderstorms will lessen, but not completely go away, for the weekend. Rain chances will be in the 30-40% chance range on both Saturday and Sunday with scattered storms being possible each day. Temperatures will peak in the low-70s on Saturday and Sunday.
