NO SEVERE WEATHER THIS WEEK… While it is important to always have a severe weather plan in place, we won’t need those plans this week, thankfully. Plenty of sunshine to continue through Thursday!

FANTASTIC, SUNNY TUESDAY; NEXT RAIN CHANCE THURSDAY NIGHT… Sunny skies are likely all day on this Tuesday. We had a cold start this morning but temperatures will quickly rebound into the 50s by 9AM, rising into the low-60s by 11AM. High temperatures will be in the upper-60s today. More nice weather is in store for Wednesday ahead of a small chance of rain Thursday night into Friday morning. The good news is the upcoming weekend looks absolutely wonderful.

MORE NICE WEATHER TOMORROW… Another fully sunny day is likely on Wednesday. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-70s across the region. No rain is expected anywhere close by on Wednesday.

INCREASING CLOUDINESS THURSDAY; RAIN POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY… Partly cloudy skies are likely on Thursday ahead of a chance of a few showers on Thursday night into Friday. The system moving by on Friday will not usher in any colder air, but there may be just enough moisture involved for a few showers on Thursday night and Friday morning. Most communities will remain dry as showers will likely be widely spaced. Total rain amounts of less than one tenth of an inch are expected across the region.

NEAR PERFECT WEATHER THIS WEEKEND… Full sunshine is likely on both Saturday and Sunday. This will mark the first time in several weekends that we have had a completely sunny, nice weekend. High temperatures will be in the low-70s on Saturday and on Sunday with overnight lows in the 40s. It does not get much better for a late February weekend.

NEXT SIGNIFICANT RAIN CHANCE IN ABOUT ONE WEEK… If you miss the rainfall on Thursday night into Friday morning, the next (more significant) chance of rain will likely happen in about one week as we move toward the final days of February. A cold front will likely approach our local area, bringing with it a chance for thunderstorms. It is too early to know if severe weather will be a possibility, but now through early May is typically when we see multiple episodes of severe storms. This will be something to monitor for over the next week. I will bring you the latest information in the RedZone Weather app.
