It has been quite some time since we have seen this much of the Deep South with clear skies in place. Look closely and you can see one controlled burn happening near the Santa Rosa/Okaloosa County line in northwest Florida.

SUNNY THURSDAY; NICE, DRY WEEKEND AHEAD… Sunny skies are expected today across South Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be in the low-70s across the region today. No rain is expected today or tomorrow anywhere across the Deep South. The weekend looks fantastic with high temperatures slated to be in the low-80s by Sunday. Our next rain chance happens late Tuesday into Wednesday with the potential for thunderstorms being involved.
