MAINLY SUNNY TODAY; PARTLY CLOUDY EASTER WEEKEND; RAIN AT TIMES NEXT WEEK… Dry weather continues today and tomorrow ahead of rain chances rising on Sunday into Monday across south Alabama and northwest Florida. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s today and on Saturday with overnight lows in the upper 50s and low 60s. Rain chances will begin to rise on Easter Sunday ahead of higher rain chances across the entire region on Monday and Tuesday.
NICE WEATHER THROUGH THE WEEKEND; FEW SHOWERS SUNDAY P.M. OVER WEST ALABAMA… Overall, mostly dry conditions will persist through the weekend although the exception to that may be a few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms being possible across west Alabama on Sunday afternoon and evening. Most locations will probably remain dry but a few widely scattered storms will be possible. High temperatures will continue to be in the 80s this weekend. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy on Saturday and Sunday with some peeks of sunshine in the mix as well.
RAIN & STORMS AT TIMES NEXT WEEK… While I am not seeing a major rain event or much (if anything) in the way of severe weather issues for the local area right now, multiple chances of rain and thunderstorms are likely from Monday through Thursday of the upcoming week. It will not rain all day, most likely, but scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible at times.
