Conditions are now becoming more supportive of seeing aurora at lower latitudes. As of 9:58PM, I still haven't had any reports of aurora sightings in Alabama or northwest Florida so far tonight.
No way to know if conditions will become more favorable over the next few hours… pic.twitter.com/9OefLCXL6w

BEAUTIFUL THURSDAY; RAIN CHANCES TRENDING LOWER FOR SUNDAY AND MONDAY… Mostly sunny skies will be in place across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Thursday. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s. No rain is expected across the region today or tomorrow but we are looking at the potential for low-end rain chances as we get into the early part of the upcoming week.
NICE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY… Afternoon highs will be in the 70s tomorrow and again on Saturday with overnight lows in the upper 40s inland with 50s likely closer to the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches. Mostly sunny skies are likely on Friday ahead of partly cloudy skies on Saturday. Both Friday and Saturday are expected to be without rain.
MAINLY DRY SUNDAY AND MONDAY; LOW-END RAIN CHANCES… While I cannot completely rule out an isolated shower or two on Sunday and Monday, the overall guidance has trended much drier compared to previous ideas. Skies will probably be partly cloudy on both Sunday and Monday with one or two highly isolated showers being possible before the end of the day each day. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s with overnight lows in the 50s.
