SUNNY, NICE WEDNESDAY; RAIN CHANCES EARLY NEXT WEEK… Temperatures will rebound from a cold start on this Wednesday to afternoon highs in the 70s in most communities across the region. There are some lingering areas of frost this morning but those will quickly dissipate over the next few hours. Full sunshine is expected throughout the day on this Wednesday. Tonight won’t be nearly as cold as the last two nights with most spots settling into the upper 40s for overnight lows by 6AM tomorrow morning. We have more sunshine ahead on Thursday and Friday ahead of our next chances of rain setting up for the latter half of the weekend into early next week.
MOSTLY SUNNY OVER NEXT FEW DAYS; MILD DAYS, COOL NIGHTS… High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s tomorrow and Friday with overnight lows consistently in the mid to upper 40s. Sunny days and clear nights are upcoming through Saturday.
SHOWERS POSSIBLE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY… A frontal boundary will approach our area from the west early next week. There is a bit of uncertainty as to the specific timing, but it looks like we may have a few showers around on Sunday into Monday. Not every community will have rain across the region. For now, severe weather parameters remain quite low.
UPDATE ON DROUGHT CONDITIONS ACROSS THE REGION… Drought conditions vary across the region quite a bit with some locales in northwest Florida and Clarke County, Alabama in the severe drought conditions. Interestingly, parts of southern Baldwin County near Foley and Orange Beach are now out of the drought zones completely due to all of the recent rain in that area.
