Supercell Composite values are at an 8 at 1AM across parts of south Alabama and northwest Florida.
That points to a few supercells being possible ahead of the main line of thunderstorms that will move through overnight.

This pop-up storm in central Santa Rosa County, north of Milton near Allentown, is broadly rotating. Don’t think this particular storm becomes a big issue necessarily but this goes to show: The atmosphere is primed for severe weather overnight.
