MOSTLY SUNNY TODAY; DRY, WARM DAYS AHEAD… Mostly sunny skies are likely across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s today. Unfortunately, we have no rain in the forecast today. Other than a rogue shower being possible tomorrow evening into Thursday, I am seeing no signs of meaningful rain in the next 7-10 days. That is quite unfortunate as drought conditions across the region are in the severe category in many communities. Warmer temperatures are expected as we get into the latter half of the week.
FEW SPRINKLES AND SHOWERS TOMORROW EVENING… Our local area will be on the periphery of a zone where scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop tomorrow evening into tomorrow night. Unfortunately, most of the showers and storms will happen to our west. We desperately need the rainfall. Any showers that do develop locally will be brief. High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 70s.
MAINLY SUNNY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY; WARMING TEMPS… Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s on Thursday with low 80s likely on Friday. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected each day.
NICE, WARM WEEKEND COMING UP… High temperatures warm into the 80s on both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s. Mostly sunny skies are expected each day. It will be a fantastic weekend for outdoor activities.
