An update for our friends in Monroe County… Heavy rain and thunderstorms are happening near Franklin, Scratch Ankle, Perdue Hill, Megargal, Eliska, and Chrysler.
If you’re in Mexia, Monroeville, Ollie, Frisco City, Excel, Uriah, Beatrice, Peterman, or Tunnel Springs, heavy rain will likely start in the next 20-30 minutes!
So far, we have not had any warnings across our area today. These storms are under severe limits, but I wouldn’t be shocked if 30-40mph gusts happened as the leading edge of storms moves through.
