ISOLATED STORMS DRIFTING NORTHWEST… Storms are small and isolated this evening, but are nonetheless producing very heavy downpours of rain near Andalusia, Straughn, Heath, Gantt, Lottie, Rabun, Perdido, and Fulton.
There is nothing in the way of severe weather, but these tiny storms can certainly “pack a punch” with very heavy rain and cloud-to-ground lightning. Storms will begin to fade after we start to lose daytime heat content after sunset.
