NEXT FEW HOURS… The pound of moisture fueling the long, straight line of thunderstorms extends well out into the Gulf of Mexico. Storms will continue to train inland from southwest to northeast over the next few hours. The main severe weather concern is now heavy rain that could lead to more flash flooding. This concern is most notable in Baldwin, Escambia (FL), Santa Rosa, and Covington counties locally.
