PARTLY CLOUDY TODAY BEFORE RAIN RETURNS TUESDAY… “Say it ain’t so!” More rain is in our 7 Day Forecast starting on Tuesday when scattered showers and thunderstorms return to our area. Before we get there, a nice, seasonal Monday is on tap for south Alabama and northwest Florida with high temperatures in the upper-60s. Partly cloudy skies are likely throughout the day. Unfortunately, it’s not just Tuesday that has the potential to be wet. Let’s look at a few details…

WET MIDWEEK AHEAD… Rain will become likely on Tuesday as a shortwave trough approaches from the west. Winds will shift out of the south across our region. This will allow warm, Gulf air to once again dominate our weather pattern through the end of the week. Showers and storms will be likely on Wednesday into Thursday as well. Severe weather parameters remain low. If we have changes, I’ll bring you the latest in the RedZone Weather app.

I’ve got all the details for you in your Monday #rzw forecast video… Enjoy your day!

NICE SUNDAY & MONDAY BEFORE MORE RAIN MIDWEEK… “Better weather” is in store for this evening into Monday ahead of more showers and thunderstorms Tuesday into Wednesday. High temperatures across south Alabama and northwest Florida will peak near the 70 degree mark today. The rain is long gone to our east with mostly sunny skies expected through the end of the day. Monday will be nice, seasonal, and mostly sunny with highs in the upper-60s. An active end to the upcoming week is ahead. Let’s look at details…

MORE SHOWERS ON TUESDAY… Our next rain chance happens on Tuesday as yet another shortwave trough approaches our area from the west. For now, we’ll go with showers being likely but I would not be surprised if we have to add a few thunderstorms into the forecast valid for Tuesday evening. Temperatures will again rise into the mid-70s each afternoon by the middle of the week.

STORMS LIKELY WEDNESDAY… Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday and Thursday. Severe weather parameters remain low, for now, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the situation midweek. We remain in an active pattern with severe weather being possible at least once a week. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Storm Prediction Center introduce a low-end severe weather probability for Wednesday into Thursday. I’ll keep you posted about details in the RedZone Weather app.
