LINE OF STORMS WORKING ITS WAY TO THE SOUTHEAST… Heavy rain and thunderstorms will move into eastern Escambia (AL), Covington, Crenshaw, Escambia (FL), Santa Rosa, and southern Baldwin counties over the next hour. Heads up for Luverne, Andalusia, Opp, Gantt, Straughn, Florala, Roberts, Jay, Berrydale, Milton, Pace, Pensacola, Foley, and Orange Beach: The main batch of storms will be moving into your area soon.

Thunderstorms simply are not as strong as they were about 2 hours ago while crossing Louisiana and Mississippi. This is likely because of the slightly more stable air in place across our region due to the thunderstorms that inundated coastal counties last evening.

Gusty (30-40 mph) winds will continue to be possible, particularly along the leading edge of the thunderstorms. Gusty winds and a tornado or two remain possible along the leading edge of the storms.
