NOW THAT’S A COLD FRONT!… It’s not everyday that you see such a strong cold front set to push across our local area. Check out the temperature projection valid at 10AM (above) showing 70° at Jackson, AL in Clarke County. A mere 20 miles to the west in Chatom, temperatures will be around 51°. That’s a 19 degree swing over 20 miles. Quite a temperature gradient!
Another example is below showing temperatures near 69-70° at Orange Beach with temperatures behind the cold front in the upper 50s (59°) at Daphne. This map (below) is valid at Noon.
This will be a strong cold front, ushering in VERY cold temperatures!
