RAIN TO CLEAR OUT THIS AFTERNOON; FREEZE WARNING OVERNIGHT… Lingering showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to be possible at times over the next several hours. Cooler air continues to filter into south Alabama and northwest Florida. Technical high temperatures have already happened today. Temperatures this afternoon around 3-4PM will be in the 45-50° range. Quite chilly by mid-March standards! A Freeze Warning is in effect for the entire local area tonight as overnight lows on Tuesday morning will be in the 28-32° range. It will be a night when sensitive outdoor plants and outdoor pets should be inside. Tomorrow will be a chilly day but we will have more sunshine around compared to today.

CHILLY TUESDAY; ANOTHER FREEZE TOMORROW NIGHT… High temperatures tomorrow will be in the 50s. That’s quite chilly by mid-March standards. Full sunshine is expected throughout the day. Tomorrow night will feature lows quite similar to what happens tonight. Most spots will be in the upper 20s inland and in the low 30s closer to the coast.

WARMER TEMPERATURES LATER THIS WEEK… Temperatures are set to rebound after tomorrow. We’ll be in the 60s for highs on Wednesday, 70s on Thursday, and in the 80s on Friday and into the weekend. Sunny skies are expected Wednesday through Saturday.
