DENSE FOG THIS MORNING; MAINLY SUNNY LATER TODAY… Fog is dense across parts of the region this morning! Take it slow if you’re driving.
Fog burns off midmorning ahead of mostly sunny skies this afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid 70s.
Temperatures will remain mild for Santa’s ride across the region overnight. We’ll be in the 50s overnight.
⚠️ Dense fog is a major problem right now across many southwest Alabama and northwest Florida communities. Getting viewer reports of several traffic accidents – some with injuries.

⚠️ Interstate 65 southbound is closed this evening near Bay Minette, apparently due to a significant traffic accident that was described to me as a “head on collision.” Traffic must get off I-65 South at the Perdido/Rabun exit. Thanks to Juliette Adams for this report.

COOLER TEMPS NEXT WEEK… Mild days and cool nights will continue through this week and into the upcoming weekend. Monday, however, we’re expecting a significant cool down as a cold front pushes through. Highs next week may only be in the 50s.
