Severe thunderstorms will approach Tuscaloosa, Northport, the campus of @UofAlabama, and the Birmingham metro within the next hour or so. These storms have a history of producing widespread wind damage.

Severe thunderstorms are moving south across parts of north-central Alabama this afternoon.
These storms will move into Birmingham and Tuscaloosa in the next 60-90 minutes.
