SUNNY DAYS, CLEAR NIGHTS THROUGH THE WEEKEND… Mostly sunny skies are expected across south Alabama and northwest Florida today, tomorrow, and Sunday. A frontal boundary that was expected to cause rain chances to rise on Sunday into Monday looks much less significant than previously thought, thus rain chances on Sunday and Monday will be near zero. High temperatures will be in the upper 70s this afternoon. Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s inland with low 50s likely closer to the coast. Tomorrow will be quite similar to today with afternoon highs peaking in the 70s.
WARM TEMPERATURES EARLY NEXT WEEK… Temperatures will be running about ten degrees above our climatological norms for this time of year as we get into early next week. High temperatures Monday will be in the upper 70s and near the 80 degree mark. Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will likely surge into the low 80s. Our local weather pattern will likely remain mostly dry with only a small (<5%) chance of a shower or two across the region on Tuesday and Wednesday. TROPICS REMAIN QUIET… The Gulf, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean remain quiet with no tropical storms expected to form over the next 7 days. The 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season has likely seen its final named storm (Hurricane Melissa, a few weeks ago). The season officially comes to an end on Sunday, November 30.
