MAJOR IMPACTS DUE TO WINTER STORM EXPECTED TUESDAY INTO TUE. NIGHT… Be prepared to not be able to get on local roadways tomorrow once snow and wintry precipitation start in your location! A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for ALL local counties across south Alabama and northwest Florida until 6AM Wednesday. 2 to 4 inches of total snowfall is expected in many locales across the region. Freezing rain and ice may accumulate, particularly across parts of northwest Florida. An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect OVERNIGHT into Tuesday morning with single digit wind chill values likely by 6AM Tuesday.
